Our Why

Artificial Intelligence technology has been on an exponential growth curve. For many it has created a lot of fear, anxiety and uncertainty around what it is, what it is capable of and what this means for all of us.

For many change brings a lot of anxiety – a fear of job loss, competitive pressure and an overall uncertainty around what future we are collectively moving towards.

We believe that like any technological shift, this technology will lead to a lot of changes but when the dust settles, this turbulence will lead to better human lives in the longer term has the potential to uplift us and make our lives substantially better.

But change is inevitable and instead of avoiding the change, we advocate for embracing it and finding the joy in it. We want to ask the question – what can we do now that we could not do a few years ago?
How can we use this technology to give us and our future generations wings?

How do we alleviate the difficulties for people whose jobs are being affected by this technology? How do we make this transition easier?

And to this end, we invite each and every one of you to pitch in and make your voice heard. Because collectively we have the power to systematically understand and solve these problems to ensure that technological changes lead to better lives for us and our future generations.

We wish to understand what AI means for society – and in what ways it will shape the lives of people going into the future.

A grounded look at the potential of current technology and its potential to shape the future.
